I started doing hair in 2007 when I left Mercer University and decided pre-med wasn't my path. I’ve always been creative. I love to paint, draw, and basically any other type of art, and I have always loved hanging out with the ladies. So, here we are! It’s almost like it’s not even work. Where is your favorite place to travel? “Take me to the beach, any beach. Salt air and sand with a good cocktail and good book is my happy place. ”
What's your favorite drink? “Diet Dr. Pepper, hands down. If we’re talking alcohol, Tito’s & Soda with an orange slice. “
What's your "go to" outfit? “If you know me, you know I love a fun outfit, it’s hard to choose just one but wether I’m in a t-shirt and jeans, or being extra and over the top- I LOVE to layer my jewelry to take it to the next level.”
What's your favorite restaurant in Columbia? “For dinner, probably Halls or COA- for a quick sandwich during the week, I love Crave or Sully’s Steamers!”
What's on your playlist right now? “Can always expect there to be Carrie Underwood, but lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Lainey Wilson.”
What's something you'd want your clients to know about you? “I’m actually an introvert. Yes- shocker to most. I give my whole self to each and every guest that sits in my chair. If you catch me anywhere besides work I’m pretty quiet and reserved and like to be at home most of the time.“

Where is your dream place to travel? "To all the places where they filmed Game of Thrones, so Europe I guess."
What's your favorite drink? "Coffee, I wish it was water though.”
What's your "go to" outfit? "I have a lot of different styles but I always have to have some sort of gold jewelry on and I really like wearing black."
What's your favorite restaurant in Columbia? "I love The Devine Cinnamon Roll Deli."
What's on your playlist right now? "I have everything you can think of from Abba & Fleetwood Mac to Mac Miller to Alan Jackson, Celine Dion, Fall Out Boy to various Spanish artists, you name it! I’m all over the place with my music taste."

I’m originally from upstate NY and have been behind the chair for 11 years. I absolutely love doing hair! I feel so proud to be working for Parlour 818 because it feels more like home than a salon. What's something you'd want your clients to know about you? "I am Vegan and a huge animal lover! I’m also passionate about helping to end human trafficking. I serve God first and foremost and thank Him for where I am today. At least once a week you can catch me at karaoke because I love to sing. Okay, a few things!"

HI’ve been providing hair services in Columbia for over ten years now. With my background in Aveda, I learned the importance of shapes and use those skills to sculpt hair through precision cutting. Where is your dream place to travel? "Bali. I’ve always dreamed of the clear blue water, the culture, and cool little huts on the water where you can see the ocean through your floor! Sounds so dreamy!”
What's your favorite drink? "My favorite drink is Mountain Dew but my kickstart to the day is always a nice and sweet coffee from Dunkin or Starbucks. It's usually more cream and sugar than coffee…”
What's your "go to" outfit? "My favorite outfit is a nice pair of jeans, a snug t-shirt, finished off with converse all-stars."⠀⠀⠀
What's your favorite restaurant in Columbia? "Hands down, California Dreaming. They have a steak that is marinated in fruit juices that is absolutely delicious!"
What's on your playlist right now? "My playlist has a mix of everything: Jeris Johnson, Tones and I, Dua Lipa, and Nirvana."
What's something you'd want your clients to know about you? "Your hair goals become my obsession. I work hard and educate myself to give you the best service I can provide. On a personal note: I love all things horses, yes that includes unicorns!"

I am originally from Laurens, South Carolina. Ii moved here to Columbia a little over two years ago, originally to just go to hair school here but found Parlour along the way and fell in love with the salon. I grew up on a farm in North Carolina and moved to South Carolina in 2019. I’ve always had a passion for all forms of art from painting to photography and writing, I love having creative outlets and being able to make someone’s day.

Where is your favorite place to travel? “Anywhere with mountains and a good hiking spot! Asheville is my go to for tattoos and a little vacation, but I love to explore new places.”

What's your "go to" outfit? “A black turtle neck is my staple piece - it goes with everything and 99% of the time you’ll catch me wearing a pair of vans.”

Where is your favorite place to travel? I love to drive in the mountains or spend a day in Charleston!

What's your "go to" outfit? I would love to say I am a fashionista but you will usually find me in a sweatshirt and leggings or jeans and a cute top.
What's your favorite restaurant in Columbia? I love trying all the places Columbia has to offer but I love a good staple like Melting Pot or Mellow Mushroom.
What's on your playlist right now? Playlist staples for me include any oldies, SZA, Frank Ocean, and Daniel Caesar and MJ. I change what I am listening to based on my mood and the seasons.

Hello everyone! I'm Claire, originally from Lexington, South Carolina. I recently graduated from the University of South Carolina, majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology. You might recognize me from my time at the front desk, but now I've stepped into the role of salon manager!
